Attorney Justin L. Scott Joins Bratton Scott Elder Law & Estate Planning

scott-web-readyBratton Scott Attorney’s is pleased to announce its newest partner, Justin L. Scott, Esq. to the estate planning, life care planning, and elder law division.

In Mr. Scott’s new role, he will join attorney Chris Bratton in the areas of elder law, life care planning, estate planning, and estate administration for the firm’s four locations in Haddonfield, Linwood and Ewing, New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Bratton Scott Attorneys, Justin gained several years of invaluable experience in estate planning, elder law, asset protection, and life care planning as a respected attorney for an elder law firm here in South Jersey. Before moving to New Jersey, Justin began his estate planning, complex high-net worth estate planning, and elder law career clerking for a Washington, D.C. area law firm.

The addition of Justin will allow our department to more efficiently and effectively expand our reach within the community and State. Combing Mr. Bratton’s and Mr. Scott’s experience will allow us to strengthen our services, complement internal support, increase client meetings and communication, heighten educational seminars, and respond to our growing client needs.

“Our focus continues to be on serving our clients and community partners and this partnership with Justin allows us to strengthen our offerings,” remarked partner Chris Bratton. “With the addition of Justin and our existing Bratton Scott attorneys, elder care coordinators and staff, we have created a strong team, and we think you will find it to be the best client experience and service one deserves.”

Mr. Scott is the 2016 Avvo award recipient of the “Client Choice Award” and is a frequent speaker on various estate planning and elder law topics. In addition, Justin is a published author of “Senior Shakedown: The Unknown Dangers of Getting Old, and How to Protect Your Loved Ones.” Justin is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey Elder Law Section and Camden and Burlington County Bar Associations. Each year he and his wife Samantha are very active in the Camden County Bar’s Adopt a Family program.

“I am honored to be part of this new and exciting endeavor, remarked Justin L. Scott. “When I met Chris and his team, it didn’t take me long to realize what a bright and dedicated elder law attorney he is and how resourceful and committed every person at his firm is. And so I knew there was nowhere else I wanted to continue my career with. I look forward to growing and servicing families and partners in our community.”

When not servicing clients, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife Samantha, traveling, attending Broadway shows and Philadelphia sporting events, and playing golf.
